WWII German M40 Helmet Shell

📜 Description

This is an original WWII German M40 Helmet shell! This is an original steel shell but it has been re painted sometime after the war, so unfortunately none of the original paint or decals remain. The liner and liner band are also missing but the liner pins are there. The helmet is made by Vereinigte Deutsche Nickelwerke as seen by the "NS64" Stamp inside the liner rim. The 64 denotes the helmets size. The helmets lot number is "D129". Please see pictures.
