This is an extremely difficult bottle to find! This is a variant of a J.J. Butler open pontil ink bottle. The bottle is 2 5/8 inches tall. This bottle has an excellent "as dug" patina. J.J. Butler was located in Cincinnati Ohio and the bottle is marked "CIN O". His bottles appear from the 1840s-1860s. This appears to be a n earlier variant due to the crude tube pontil and the inward rolled lip. This is an excellent bottle to add to any bottle collection! Please see pictures for condition. There are no issues or damage.
