Nice Excavated Civil War .41 caliber Dimick Rifle Bullet. Slight carving on the nose. These unique bullets were used by the 66th Illinois Volunteer Infantry known as Birge's Sharpshooters. Each gun had its own numbered bullet mold to fit the caliber of the gun. Bullet was recovered at Shiloh. Measures .41 x .91. MM#278
