Excellent non excavated Kings Mountain Military School Coat Button. The school was located in Yorkville, South Carolina. Backmark of RMDC SCOVILL. Scovill made these buttons during the late 1850's to the early 1860's. Listed in Albert's button book as SU189 and in Tice's button book as SCS294A. Measures 20.37mm.
