WWI German M16 Helmet Shell

📜 Description

This is a nice Model 1916 "Stahlhelm" helmet shell used by the German army during the first world war. This helmet is missing its liner but still retains some of its original paint. The term "shell" refers to the steel part of the helmet only because it is missing its liner. It is stamped "G62" on the inside rim of the helmet. The helmet is in good over all condition apart from a missing liner and a little bit of missing paint. This would be a great example of an honest unaltered WWI helmet to add to your collection !
