WWI US Canteen with Trench Art

📜 Description

This is an absolutely fantastic WWI US canteen! Not only is it in great condition as well as retaining its leather strap and also have no rips or holes. This canteen was also whittled on by the soldier who carried it! The soldier scratched "France" with a backwards F on one side of the cup while on the other side he scratched "3MO 1917-18-19". In the center under the handle the "MASS" in inscribed. All the inscriptions are on the cup itself.
The canteen and the cover both are marked 1918. Please see pictures for details!
