This is a great example of an original German WWII army (Heer) aluminum buckle by Klein & Quenzer made in 1939. The buckle is stamped "KuQ" near the catch which stands for Klein & Quenzer. Beside that stamping is "39." which denotes the year it was made, 1939. This buckle retains very little of its original paint, probably worn away from field usage. The buckle still retains its roller and prongs for belt attatchment.
