WWII German M40 Luftwaffe Helmet

📜 Description

This is a fantastic example of a German M40 helmet featuring the Luftwaffe decal on the side. This helmet retains its original paint, decal, liner, and chinstrap! The Helmet is made by Quist and is stamped with "Q66" on the inner rim of the helmet. The helmets lot number appears to be 863 but there is some rust inside of the numbers and can be difficult to see so please judge that for yourself.
There are a couple of sections where the sections of the rim of the helmet are chipped so please look closely at the pictures. The helmet liner is missing the drawstring which is often the case on German helmets.
Overall, this is a fantastic helmet with lots of history and eye appeal and would be great to add to any collection!
