WWII German M40 Luftwaffe Helmet Shell

📜 Description

This is an original "as found" condition WWII German Luftwaffe helmet shell. This helmet still retains a small portion of its Luftwaffe eagle decal on the side of the helmet. The helmet retains its original aluminum liner band even though the leather liner is missing. The helmet also retains about half of its original paint. This helmet although not perfect, is a good honest example of an original Luftwaffe WWII helmet !
The helmet is made by Emaillerwerke A.G., Fulda as seen by the "EF64" stamp inside the helmet (64 being the size).
The helmet has a lot number of 1452.
